- 170g bitter Prestat chocolate
- Half a pint of water
- 110g granulated sugar
- Warm the water and the chocolate together over a low heat until the chocolate has melted completely.
- Once the chocolate is smooth, add the sugar and stir slowly until it has dissolved.
- When the sugar has dissolved completely, bring the mix to the boil and let it simmer with the lid off for 10-15 minutes until the sauce reaches a syrupy consistency.
